Illustrations of four iconic 1930s Modernist homes are featured on this colourful set of coasters. The buildings which appear in this set are Sun House and Kensal House, both designed by Maxwell Fry; 66 Frognal by Colin Lucas; and Highpoint 1 by Berthold Lubetkin and Ove Arup. These fine examples of 1930s Modernist residences are all situated in North and West London. The collection celebrates International Style architecture which emerged in Western Europe after World War I and utilises lightweight and industrial materials and modular forms with flat surfaces. The coasters come in a bright colour palette and matching placemats are available. Designed and made in the UK.
People Will Always Need Plates is the creation of influential British design duo Hannah Dipper and Robin Farquhar. They believe that good design should be used and enjoyed - products should be both beautiful and functional.
