As spring shifts to summer, British berries begin to ripen, one variant following the other as the weather becomes warmer then shifts back to the cooling autumn months. Capturing this transition, this gorgeous set of four plates each feature different artwork of the various fruits: Sea Buckthorn, Hawthorn, Blackcurrant and Elderberry.
The artwork has been hand-painted onto the side plates using a combination of brushes and pipettes, creating a unique reproduction each time with a slight textured effect. The side plates themselves are made and decorated in a small, family-owned factory in Italy, where artisan techniques are handed down through the generations. The strong, durable earthenware clay used ensures the side plate set will last through many delightful dinners.
